Jazz club/coffee bar coming to Walnut Hills

A Cincinnati jazz musician is turning his passion for music into a cafe, bar and venue in the heart of Walnut Hills.

Brent Gallaher is a longtime jazz musician who cut his teeth at the Blue Wisp downtown. He hopes to open Caffe Vivace this fall with his wife, Vanessa, in 1,700 square feet at 975 E. McMillan St. on the ground floor of the Trevarren Flats development.

"Brent and Vanessa share in our vision of inclusive, neighborhood-focused growth," said Blake Bartley, who represented Trevarren Flats owner Model Group in the lease. "Caffe Vivace will make an excellent addition to Trevarren Flats and to the rapidly growing Walnut Hills business district."
